About Round Table India’s ongoing project “Freedom Through Education”
After 60 years of independence, 5 Crore Indian children have never been to school. To reach out to this group of underprivileged children, we proposed in the year 1998 to provide basic infrastructure for primary education in rural India, reaching out to 10 Lakh children. We believe that true freedom for an individual comes only through education. Keeping the hundreds of lakhs of under-privileged children in mind, we undertook our long-term national project as “Freedom Through Education (FTE)”.
